Gymnostemium (A detail of something much larger)

Gynostemium is the sex organ of the orchid, a column in which the male and female genitalia of the plant are fused. These rhizomes have been great inspiration to me.

The Gymno form has both phallus and orifice.

When cloned it self penetrates, interconnects and makes a spine.
